The A27 in East Sussex remains closed in both directions between the A270 (Shoreham) and the A293 (Portslade) due to planned roadworks which have overrun their pre-agreed end time. 

Update – The eastbound carriageway is in the process of being re-opened shortly. The westbound carriageway will also be re-opened shortly with a lane 1 closure in place.
